About the Opportunity

We are looking for an Internal Communications Assistant to join the team. In this role, you will be supporting the communications officers with the creation and publishing of relevant and engaging content for the Legacy Ponds team. You will also be supporting in the coordination and set up on internal events and presentations, both in person and online.

Internal Communications is an essential part of the business, providing essential updates to the team and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. We encourage you to have a voice and offer your own takes and insight in this role, having a different perspective or new ideas is always encouraged!

Responsibilities

  • Being involved in the establishment of an internal communications strategy with management
  • Ensure all organisational initiatives and projects are communicated successfully to employees and stakeholders
  • Curate a variety of content, through planning, writing, editing and designing stages, across different communication mediums, including social media, emails, newsletters, videos, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist in the delivery of presentations and internal events
  • Ensure messaging across all mediums and departments are consistent and have the appropriate choice of tone, voice, and wording
  • Taking on-board feedback from employees and adjusting communications accordingly
Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, and Teams
  • Ability to use Adobe Suite programmes would be desirable, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro and InDesign
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning skills, but flexibility and the ability to adapt as this is a highly dynamic role
  • Soft skills, including the ability to empathize and listen to people, as you will need to understand how different employees in different parts of the business may respond to communications
